HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI – v10.1.0.0 file downloaded from HP Site corrupted?

I have the same issue, plus I cant install the 9.1 version and I have no idea why. Can you fix the published file or send me a version surely correct? I assume you tried what you thought was a factory reset to correct an issue you were having. Only suggestion is to connect with a usb cable and run the software package which should enable you to enter the wireless settings. If the waiting until the lights cycle do not work, there is nothing else as there is no restore factory defaults or NVRAM reset in the service manual.

Printer IP is 0.0.0.0 and IP configuration is stuck to manual

Is there a way to FULLY reset the NVRAM, so the IP configuration will be DHCP?

I chose the the first of three (3) options it gave me (configure a printer to print over the wireless network) and then The installation file of this version, fortunately, works fine. The first try of installation of 9.1 version failed with error 1722.

However, following the suggestion made by @davidzuts, I ran the setup file I had downloaded a couple of weeks ago which turned out to be the same one he shared I have verified that during the installation Win Defender have blocked chkdsk.exe to write on \Device\HardDiskVolume1. Fortunately, as I said previously, I was able to install the 9.1 version. I hope this helps resolve this issue completely. Printer IP is 0.0.0.0 and IP configuration is stuck to manual

The field “IP Configured By” is now Manual, when the original factory setting should be something like “DHCP” or Automatic. Therefore my question was, is there a way to COMPLETELY revert the settings to factory or is this a bug in the reset procedure. I can see the settings from the device configuration page, which is printed by the printer. I want to revert the printer to its factory settings.

You said you waited until all noises stopped where the instructions are to wait for all lights to cycle. What you said you did is not the same as the instructions I copied for you. Turn the product off.b. I WANT TO ENTER THE WIRELESS CREDENTIALS MANUALLY (perhaps the first option would also work if your router supports WPS; but I did not try that). I know this thread is very old but I guess my post would help someone in the same situation (and I hope Kenshifurio did not trash his printer).

I report below the text and the screenshot of your private message. Unfortunatly, something went wrong with your private message, because you mentioned to follow further steps but not writed it. My network was changed from Class C to Class B before I could change the printer’s IP manually. In the service manual the reset are the exact instructions I gave you in my first post. Maybe the issue you were having is the wireless network card has malfunctioned or something else has happend. Choose a wireless network SSID from the list it would display.

Hold the buttons until all the lights blink in unison, and then release the buttons. If the error persists, uninstall the product, and then re-run theinstaller program. Press and hold the wireless button and thecancel button, and then turn the product on.c. The product is not communicating with the wireless router oraccess point.● Verify that the wireless light is on. Choose ADVANCED (Enter wireless credentials manually) on the Wireless Discovery Method window And the following steps helped reinstall my printer (HP Laserjet P1102W) on the network (with an IP address assigned and the “IP configured by” set to DHCP.

Have you maybe thought of upgrading the firmware of the printer to the latest version which may allow you  to configure the wireless settings with the download software. I did not care much because 99.99% of wireless devices out ther offer a way to reset network settings to default. Also, the procedure you described to reset default wireless settings was the source of the problem as it resets everything EXCEPT the IP configuration mode, which remains stuck to manual. If it is not on, pressthe wireless button.● Move the product closer to the wireless router or accesspoint, and then try again.● Restore the default wireless settings.a.

I do not know your printer but just trying to https://academy-to-promote-prenatal-attachment.com/en-in/ help. Just delete the printer if connected to the computer, run the software and connect the printer via usb and you should be good to go. Maybe you are releasing to soon or to late and the reset is not happening. I’ve waited until the printer stops making noise, counting 15 seconds after that and other permutations. Also, the connection with the computer has nothing to do with this.

The last thing to try is to remove the printer and then use the software that came with the printer with it being connected via usb to have the wireless information put back into the printer. Perhaps what you did had some effect on the network settings I can not really say. When prompted for network settings, provide the settings, and then continue the installation.
